Daily Kitchen Note

Stacking baking sheets horizontally creates a heavy, cluttered mess that is hard to navigate. Storing them upright in vertical slots maximizes cabinet space and makes grabbing the right pan easier.

How to Store upright

  1. Measure the interior height and depth of your lower kitchen cabinets to ensure they can fit your baking sheets vertically.
  2. Install a slotted rack, tension rods, or vertical dividers inside the cabinet.
  3. Slide your baking sheets, cutting boards, and large platters upright into the slots for easy access.

Why it works

Vertical storage utilizes the often-wasted vertical height in cabinets. By filing flat items like baking sheets upright, you reduce the need to unstack heavy piles, making your kitchen more efficient and organized.
